Shipping policy

Yoshiaki Ito Design ("we" and "us") operates https://yoshiakiito.com ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the following terms. These policies ensure both parties understand our shipping and fulfillment process, setting clear expectations for service.


1. General

Orders are subject to stock availability. We strive to maintain accurate inventory on our website, but from time to time, stock discrepancies may occur. If an item is unavailable at the time of purchase, we will fulfill the available products and contact you regarding the back-ordered item. You will have the option to wait for restocking or request a refund.


2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order. Payment for shipping is collected at the time of purchase, and this amount will be the final shipping charge.


3. Returns

3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind

We accept returns for change of mind requests within 14 days of receiving the item. The product must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in a resellable condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Once we receive and inspect the item, refunds will be processed as store credit.
  • We do not refund the original shipping cost.

3.2 Warranty Returns

We honor valid warranty claims within 90 days of receipt of items.

  • Customers must pre-pay return shipping but will be reimbursed upon successful warranty claim approval.
  • Warranty claims are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item.
  • If a warranty claim is approved, customers can choose from:
    • A refund to the original payment method
    • A store credit refund
    • A replacement item (if in stock)

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Transit Time (Domestic - U.S. & Canada)

  • Orders typically arrive within 2-7 business days.

4.2 Transit Time (International)

  • International orders typically arrive within 4-22 business days, depending on the selected shipping carrier and destination.

4.3 Dispatch Time

  • Orders are usually processed and shipped within one business day after payment is received.
  • Our fulfillment partner in California ships all Morphits Toy orders for customers in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Morphits orders for international customers are fulfilled from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China.
  • TAMEN furniture made in Japan is fulfilled directly by Japanese manufacturers and shipped worldwide within 3-4 business days.

4.4 Change of Delivery Address

  • You may update your delivery address at any time before your order is shipped.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

  • We can only ship to P.O. Boxes using standard postal services.
  • Courier services cannot be used for P.O. Box deliveries.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

  • We can ship to military addresses using USPS only.
  • Courier services cannot deliver to military addresses.

4.7 Items Out of Stock

  • If an item in your order is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your full order.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

  • If your order takes longer than the estimated delivery time, please contact us so we can investigate.

5. Tracking Notifications

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and link to monitor your shipment’s progress.


6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

  • If you receive a damaged parcel, please reject delivery and notify us immediately.
  • If you were not present at delivery and receive a damaged package, contact our customer service team for assistance.

7. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax is included in the product price displayed on our website.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

For international orders, duties and taxes may apply.

  • Customers can pre-pay import duties & taxes at checkout to avoid customs delays.
  • If you choose not to pre-pay, duties and taxes will be charged upon arrival in your country.
  • If you refuse to pay import duties and taxes, your order will be returned to us at your expense. You will receive a refund for the product cost minus return shipping costs. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

8. Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled at any time before dispatch.
  • If your order has already been shipped, you will need to process a return under our refund policy.

9. Insurance

  • All parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the shipping carrier’s stated value.

9.1 Process for Damaged Parcels

  • We will process a refund or replacement once the courier completes an investigation.

9.2 Process for Lost Parcels

  • If a shipment is confirmed lost, we will process a refund or send a replacement.
